The Importance of Dust Control Solutions
Not a lot of people are aware that
there are actually dust control solutions people can use in order to control dust.
In most cases, dust is harmless but
there are people who are extra sensitive to it. Their body reacts to too much
dust – their nose gets runny, their eyes watery and their throat and ears
itchy. There are also times when they develop rashes due to dust.
If you have asthma, you should also
stay away from dust as it can cause your asthma to attack.
Dust Control Solutions for Industrial Places
Industrial places are dustier than
homes. Places such as construction areas, mines and roads need dust control
solutions in order to minimize dust.
Aside from preventing the employees
from getting sick from all the dust, using dust control solutions will also
lessen accidents.
For instance, too much dust will lessen
the visibility on roads making vehicle collision very possible.
In construction area, people go up
unfinished buildings and visibility is very important so they know where
they’re going. Cases of people falling off unfinished buildings have happened
in the past and I’m sure you don’t want that to happen in your building.
Construction area will also need dust suppression systems because it control airborne dust without
wetting the product or site machinery. This system is fully installed and
integrated into all processes and suppress dust without the need for expensive
extraction systems.
Dust Control Solutions for Homes
While homes don’t get dusty that
easily, it’s still important for homeowners to control dust in their homes.
While there are commercial dust control solutions specifically made for homes,
you don’t need it unless a family member is really allergic to dust.
There are very simple dust
control solutions that you can at home such as replacing curtains with
blinds. Curtains are very good at catching dust in the air, and then dust can
fly off when the curtain is moved just a bit.
Displays such as books and picture
frames are also very good dust gatherers. In fact, anything that’s not touched
regularly gather dust so you might want to get rid of them. A good test is the
6 months test. If you haven’t touched anything for 6 months – like the books on
your shelf or the magazines under your center table – then it’s time to get rid
of it.
